The RiVR team has had a productive and enlightening trip to CES in Las Vegas, Nevada so far, where they have been immersing themselves in the latest technology and exploring the city’s many innovations. In addition to visiting various technology companies and research labs, the team had the opportunity to try out some exciting new technologies for themselves and attend industry events.
The team also went to see the Delorean Car and the Playstation VR2 headset that was also released today at CES 2023.
Alex, Co-Founder of RiVR, also had the chance to try out some new technologies during day 1. Alex visited the TCL AR glasses booth and was impressed by the comfort and seamless AR experience offered by these glasses. Alex also attended a demonstration of the Canon mixed reality headset, which was part of a film launch. This cutting-edge headset combines the real world with digital elements to create a unique and immersive experience.
The team also had the chance to ride on the Tesla Vegas Loop, an underground tunnel that transports travelers from one side of the convention center to the other. The ride was smooth and efficient, and the team is excited to see how this technology could be applied in other cities.
In addition to attending industry events and trying out new technologies, the RiVR team also had the opportunity to demonstrate their own products to international police services and health education personnal. The team conducted virtual reality demos of RiVR Link and RiVR CSI, which allowed attendees to experience the capabilities of these products firsthand. The demos were well received, and the team received valuable feedback from attendees about how these products could be used in their work.
In between demos at the Wynn Hotel, Oliver and Tyronne, two members of the RiVR team, visited the Eureka Park at CES 2023 to see tech start-ups. This included the Dream Glass AR headset and motion tracking software, which the team found to be particularly interesting. The Eureka Park was a great opportunity to see the latest innovations from up-and-coming companies and to learn about their potential impact on the tech industry. Visiting Eureka Park also brought back memories of when RiVR was exhibiting on the British Innovation stand at CES 2018.
One highlight of the trip was a visit to the Lenovo event at Estiatorio Milos inside the Venetian Hotel. This event showcased the latest Lenovo technology, including laptops and VR/AR headsets that were also featured at CES 2023. The team was impressed by the wide range of products on display and the potential applications for these technologies. They particularly appreciated the opportunity to try out the VR/AR headsets and to see how they could be used in different settings. This event also allowed the RiVR Team to create more partnerships within the Lenovo team.
Overall, the RiVR team’s trip to CES in Las Vegas has been a success so far, and they are grateful for the opportunity to see firsthand the latest technologies and to meet with experts in their field. They are excited to bring back what they have learned and to continue pushing the boundaries of innovation in their work. The team is confident that their visit to Las Vegas will yield valuable insights and help them to stay at the forefront of their field as they develop new products and solutions for their customers.
